I got my license this spring, but the reason behind it isn't new. It's about making sure that when something happens, a family isn't left figuring out how to pay for a funeral, keep the house, or hang onto a car — on top of everything else they're already carrying. A quick introduction, in my own words.
I wasn't born in Texas, but there's a long history of folks answering this state's call: volunteers joined the fight for Texas independence back in the days of the Alamo and San Jacinto, and in my own way, I've followed that same pull west.
I served at Fort Hood in Killeen, twice, and later worked as a recruiter in Coppell, just outside Dallas. I fell hard for the Lone Star State, and I've always said: if I ever got back to Texas, I'd nail my feet to the ground. Barbour Covered Insurance is my way of doing exactly that — planting roots in Paris and serving East Texas full time.
